FINE ARTIST

I am Myfanwy Powell, a multi-talented artist skilled in several artistic mediums. I am a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and have loved painting and drawing since an early age; especially horses. It’s a huge bonus to sell my work and bring people joy, particularly when it’s their own animal.

BRING YOUR BELOVED ANIMAL TO LIFE IN A PAINTING YOU WILL CHERISH FOREVER

Hi, I am Myfanwy

Myfanwy Powell works from her studio in Hampshire, specialising in equine and canine portraiture, working both on her own portfolio and client commissions. Her work is represented in private collections and is regularly exhibited in national galleries.

I was born in Wales in 1996 and lived in Llangedwyn, a small village in Powys. I studied at Shrewsbury Junior and Senior High School and acquired a First Class (Hons) degree in BA Fine Art and a Merit degree in MA Fine Art at Aberystwyth University.

I started painting commissions at the age of sixteen and now it is a full time career. I am currently based in Powys where I live with my husband, and in my spare time I ride and compete with my own horse at eventing.

A few facts about me

ART FANATICS, LOVERS OF ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL AND THOSE WHO WISH TO IMMORTALISE THEIR BELOVED COMPANION.

people who know the value in capturing memories to last a lifetime.

those who value art and are looking for something priceless to cherish for a lifetime.

"I recently had a painting completed by Myfanwy of my horse and I genuinely couldn’t believe how amazing it is. The painting is absolutely beautiful, I couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. Would 1000% recommend Myfanwy to anyone looking for a painting of their beloved animals."
